Die Aviationbranche traf in der letzten Woche die Medienbranche. Beim Aviation-Event Media Forum in Baia Mare in Rumänien tauschten sich die Aviationexperten mit den Journalisten aus in verschiedenen Diskussionsrunden. Wie sollen Airlines und Airports besser kommunizieren, was sollten die Journalisten bei ihrer Berichterstattung vielleicht mehr beachten…und vieles mehr wurde auf Augenhöhe ausgetauscht…
Tenor der Branche: Mehr Berichterstattung und tiefere Themenbetrachtung der Branche aus Sicht der Airlines und Airports, die Medien wünschten sich oftmals mehr Unterstützung bei Recherchen innerhalb der Branche. Ein wichtiger Dialog innerhalb der Diskutanten.
Für alle Teilnehmer gab es neben des Forums noch die Gelegenheit die äusserst interessante Region unter die Lupe zu nehmen und zu erkunden. Denn die Region Maramures spielt eine große wirtschaftliche Rolle in Rumänien. So wird der Flughafen Baia Mare auch in Kürze erweitert und soll bereits nächstes Jahr ein neues Terminal eröffnen.
Bei Besuchen von großen Firmen unter anderem aus der Flugzeugindustrie konnten sich die Teilnehmer einen Einblick in den Wirtschaftsboom in der Region verschaffen. Fakt ist, das Aviation einen großen Teil dieser Wirtschaftskraft beisteuern wird, denn gerade die Connectivity in die Region wird zusehend bedeutender.
Zum Abschluss unterstreicht der Präsident der Region noch den Tourismus der ebenfalls für ganz Transsilvanien steht und hervorragende Möglichkeiten bietet. Kulturell, landschaftlich und auch kulinarisch ein besonderes Stück Rumäniens. Davon konnte man sich auch beim großen Eventabend überzeugen an dem auch der Aviation-Media Award verliehen wurde. Dr. Michael Kerkloh überreichte den Award an die Medienmacher von Fyling Media, die bereits seit 10 Jahren Partner des Aviation-Events sind.

The aviation industry met with the media industry last week. At the Aviation Event Media Forum in Baia Mare, Romania, aviation experts engaged in various discussion panels with journalists. They discussed how airlines and airports could improve their communication, what journalists should perhaps pay more attention to in their reporting, and much more, all in a mutually respectful and collaborative exchange.
The overall sentiment within the industry was that there should be more coverage and in-depth analysis of the aviation sector from the perspective of airlines and airports, while the media often expressed their desire for more support in conducting research within the industry. This dialogue was crucial among the participants.
In addition to the forum, all attendees had the opportunity to explore the highly intriguing Maramures region, which plays a significant economic role in Romania. The Baia Mare Airport is set to expand soon and plans to open a new terminal as early as next year.
Visits from major companies, including those from the aviation industry, provided participants with insights into the economic boom in the region. It is a fact that aviation will contribute significantly to this economic strength, as connectivity to the region is becoming increasingly important.
To conclude, the President of the region emphasized the tourism sector, which also represents all of Transylvania and offers outstanding opportunities. Culturally, scenically, and culinarily, it is a unique part of Romania. This was evident during the grand evening event where the Aviation-Media Award was presented. Dr. Michael Kerkloh presented the award to the media creators from Fyling Media, who have been partners of the Aviation Event for the past 10 years.
